Why are politicians so eager to answer a simple yes/no question in long form. Just yes or no and then elaborate.

I heard the interview and my take away is she is a truther because she was dancing around her answer. It is simple, yes or no.

I ran into this with another politician on being a birther. Do not get cute just get to the point; yes or no.
